All-State Marimba/Percussion Ensemble
| Due to increased student costs and adeclining number of applications, the coordinators of the Indiana All-State Marimba/Percussion Ensemble have announced that they will not select an All-State Ensemble for 2012. IMEA has offered practice and performance venues at past conferences for the ensemble but does not serve as the governing body responsible for decisions regarding the ensemble. IMEA would like to thank the coordinators of the All-State Marimba/Percussion Ensemble for their years of dedication and for providing outstanding musical experiences for Indiana percussion students. Other options for future years are being discussed but there will not be an All-State Marimba/Percussion Ensemble at the IMEA Professional Development Conference in 2012. |
