IMEA Beginning Music Teacher Workshop
Indiana Music Educators Association will again sponsor a workshop for music teachers in their first through fifth years of teaching in November, 2010. Date and location to be announced. The workshop has historically been held at Eidson Duckwall Recital Hall on the Butler University Campus in Indianapolis.
For those who attend the November event, you are invited to attend the follow-up workshop, which will take place Saturday, January 22, during the 2011 IMEA State Convention in Fort Wayne, IN. We will keep the format and timing of the January workshop to take place on Saturday rather than on Thursday evening, as in the past. The cost for the lunch will be $10 per person. Details about time & location will be forthcoming.
First-year teachers (who hold an MENC membership) receive complimentary registration for the IMEA Convention.
If you plan to attend the January 22, 2011, IMEA Beginning & Developing Teachers follow-up meeting and lunch, you will have the option to register during your online convention pre-registration process. If you cannot attend the convention but still want to attend the follow-up workshop & lunch, please email your contact information (name, school name, address, phone number, email address, etc.) and send a check (for the lunch) in the amount of $10 (payable to IMEA).
