IMEA will recognize the participants of the 2012 IMEA All-State Future
Music Educators Colloquium
during the General Session of the
IMEA State Convention, January 19-21, 2012
Grand Wayne Convention Center
Fort Wayne, IN
In an effort to identify and encourage future music educators, IMEA has created an IMEA all-state group for high school students; the group will convene at the annual state convention.
These students will be mentored and exposed to various aspects of the profession by well-respected music educators. While this is an IMEA all-state group and students will be chosen based on their submitted applications, this is not a performing ensemble.
The group will stay together Thursday evening through Saturday at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel, downtown Fort Wayne, IN, to gain insight into many aspects of the music education profession and to facilitate discussion.
Registration cost for the Colloquium is $150.00.
