We are Pleased to Announce: Under the sponsorship of IMEA, the Indiana IAJE officers have taken the necessary steps to once again offer an All-State Jazz Ensemble and Combo to Indiana’s high school jazz musicians. The guest conductor for this year’s Big Band will be highly regarded composer/bandleader John LaBarbera, from the University of Louisville! The All-State Jazz Concert will take place on Friday, January 22nd at 2:30 pm in conjunction with the IMEA convention. Please make note that there is NO conflict with the Purdue Jazz Festival! Auditions will take place on November 9th and 10th 2009.
