Andrew Moran is currently in his third year at the University of Indianapolis where he plays saxophone in Wind Ensemble, Big Band, and Saxophone Quartet. Native to Indianapolis, Andrew is a 2009 graduate of Warren Central High School. While attending Warren Central, he participated in Honors Band, Symphony Orchestra, Gold Brigade Marching Band, Jazz Ensemble, Winter Percussion Ensemble, and Show Band and had the honor of being selected as the Warren Arts & Education Foundation Student of the Year. Upon graduation, he attended Purdue University to pursue a degree in Aeronautical Engineering, however after discovering his true passion rests in music, he transferred to UIndy in the spring of 2010 and has never looked back. In his spare time (when not in class or practicing), he works at Warren Central as a member of the band department staff, at Creston Middle School, providing free private lessons to financially struggling saxophone players, and at Music Travel Consultants, guiding music groups on performance tours across the nation. He would like to thank many people, especially his family, friends, and teachers, who have helped him achieve what he has to this point.
