General Music Fall Workshop - Saturday, September 7, 2024

The Fall General Music Workshop is a one-day workshop in Indianapolis for general music teachers. It is designed to give educators new educational tools and tips as they head into the new academic school year. Through a very interactive, hands-on workshop, teachers will explore new ways to get their students involved in the classroom from music room games, dancing, and other fun activities. Educators can earn up to 5 PG points.

  • 10:00-10:50am - Using Children's Literature as a Springboard for Improvisation in the Music Classroom
  • 11:00-11:50am - Choral Techniques for the Elementary General Music Classroom

      Want to explore more high-quality singing in your elementary classroom?  Don’t have an extracurricular choir but want to explore part-singing? We will explore choral techniques for those without much choir experience or for those without experience working with younger voices.  It’s amazing what you can do in your regular classroom setting! Come check it out.
