The Junior All-State Band is sponsored by IMEA and the Indiana Bandmasters Association (IBA). Indiana band directors who are members of IMEA and IBA will receive audition information for their 7th, 8th, and 9th-grade students in September. The 100-member band will rehearse on Thursday and Friday at the IMEA State Conference, culminating in a performance on Saturday morning.
